Project Summary
Pixxl.Vision developed a custom online tool for comedian Alex Agnew’s “No More Heroes” tour, allowing fans to place their own face onto the comic-book illustration featured on the official tour poster. Visitors snap a photo with their phone or webcam, or upload an existing image, enter their email address, and receive their personalized poster directly in their inbox, ready to share on social media. An intelligent filter ensures only valid portraits are processed, keeping the experience smooth and on-brand.
The project covered the full scope of design, development, and hosting: from building the AI-powered web platform and integrating it with the tour’s visual identity, to running and maintaining the live service throughout the entire tour, all the way up to the final show. Delivered on an alpha release for internal testing followed by a polished public launch, the tool turned a static poster into an interactive fan experience and a memorable extension of the live show.
Instagram Virality
At launch day many famous Belgian comedians and TV personalities shared their own experiences with our AI tool. These are some of the posts that were shared on their Instagram profiles with a link to our tool.
Project Features
Every user of the webtool was invited to subscribe to Alex Agnew’s newsletter, turning a moment of fun into a direct line of communication.
Built to run seamlessly on phones, tablets, laptops and big screens, the experience requires nothing more than an internet connection, no apps, no installs, no friction.
People love seeing themselves reimagined, and the generated posters were impossible not to show off. Users eagerly shared their results with friends and across social media, extending the campaign’s reach.
Clark Kent is who I am. Superman is what I can do.
